September 24th 2021 update
We are delighted to announce that, as per the government’s recent announcement, we will be offering Covid-19 vaccinations to students at LPW School on Thursday, 30th September.
Parents/carers will have recently received a letter to explain the full details of this programme and an appropriate consent form but all documents can also be found on this page.
Please be aware that our school nurse team will only offer students a vaccination where parental/carer consent has been obtained. The relevant consent form is available for download on this page.
If you have any questions please contact the school on 0117 907 4500
LPW School is committed to ensuring the safety of our students, staff and wider community at this difficult time.
Our school remains open at this time and will continue to do so unless we are directed otherwise by the Department for Education or Bristol City Council.
We are continuing to follow the Government’s guidance and our Health & Safety experts are working to regularly risk assess the school site and monitor the control measures that we have in place to minimise the risk of spread of infection.
Our priorities remain the safety of everyone in our communities and continuity of education for all of our students. If there is any change to local arrangements your child’s key worker will contact you directly.
We must stress that if your child shows any of the common symptoms of coronavirus (high temperature (fever), a new continuous cough, loss of smell/taste) they must not come to school. If anyone in your household has any of these symptoms, your child must not come to school. Anyone showing symptoms can and should get a test to confirm whether or not they have Covid-19. You must report a positive test result to your child’s school.
