GCSE and Functional Skills Exams
11/05/22

Next week marks the start of a busy time for our Year 11 students with GCSE and Functional Skills exams taking place over the next four weeks.

On days when they have exams students are only expected to attend school for their exams, the remainder of the day will be treated as authorised study leave. If there are no exams taking place then all students are expected to attend their normal timetabled lessons.

All morning exams start promptly at 9.30 and afternoon exams at 1.15. Please support your child to attend and be on time for these exams. We strongly recommend they arrive early so they can have breakfast/lunch beforehand and be as relaxed as possible. The full exam timetable can be found below.

We recognise that this can be a stressful time for young people and our team will be working hard to support students with any concerns or anxieties they may have. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your child's key worker.

Please support your child with their revision and help them to arrive at school on time to make sure they don't risk missing any exams.

Good Luck to everybody!!!
