Safeguarding at LPW
At LPW, safeguarding is an embedded, whole-school practice. Pupils thrive when they feel safe, valued and supported, and we are proud to foster a caring community built on trust and respect.
Our commitment
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility — every adult in our community has a part to play.
We offer help and support as soon as it’s needed, so small concerns don’t become big problems.
We are committed to protecting children from harm at home, in school and online.
We prioritise mental and physical wellbeing, so nothing gets in the way of learning and development.
We work to ensure every pupil feels secure, valued and respected every day.
Safeguarding is broader than child protection. Our whole-school approach spans mental health and wellbeing, online safety, anti-bullying, safer recruitment, site security and educational visits. Multiple teams across LPW work together to ensure our pupils are protected and supported.

Mental health & wellbeing: Proactive support, supervision, and trauma-informed practice.
Anti-bullying: Clear reporting routes, restorative approaches, and consistent follow-up.
